Anju Kaburagi (鏑木 安寿, Kaburagi Anju) is Kotetsu's mother. She is aware of his dual identity as a superhero, and his daughter Kaede lives with her at her home in Oriental Town.
She often worries for her son's safety due to his dangerous job.
Etymology[]
- The name Anju means "peace, quiet" (安) (an) and "longevity, congratulations, one's natural life" (寿) (ju).
- Anju's surname Kaburagi means "turnip, arrowhead" (鏑) (kabura) and "tree, wood" (木) (ki/gi).
