Gregory Sunshine (グレゴリー・サンシャイネ, Guregorī Sanshaine) is a NEXT with the ability to make other NEXT's powers go out of control. He is a famous criminal and was serving a life sentence. He was used as test subject by Sigourney Rosicky and managed to escape.
Storyline[]
Gregory is taken to Upton Laboratory in secret at the request of Sigourney Rosicky. She intends to use him as a test subject for the drug that amplifies NEXT abilities. She makes him use his powers on Randle, who then loses control over his own ability. She proceeds to inject him with the drug, boosting his NEXT powers.
Later, Sigourney goes to Randle and tells him to keep injecting Gregory with the drug to collect more data and that even if he dies, he has a life sentence so it wouldn't matter. Moments later, Nicolai Brahe hears gunshots and goes to check out. He finds Sigourney with a gunshot wound on her arm, who tells Nicolai that Gregory managed to get a hold of a gun and escape. Gregory runs away with the drug and Nicolai heads after him.
Nicolai manages to corner Gregory and wants him to surrender. Fugan and Mugan then warp to Nicolai, wanting to say their goodbyes with him. As they thank him for everything, Nicolai starts crying. Gregory then shoots Fugan and Mugan in the head, making Nicolai angry, but he proceeds to shoot him in the chest, leaving him to die before Gregory runs away with the NEXT boosting drug.
Powers and Abilities[]
Gregory's NEXT power works only on NEXT powers and requires him to touch the target. Once he touches them and activates his power, the target's NEXT powers go wild and out of control.
Trivia[]
- Gregory's saliva actually activates his power. Hence why he drinks so much booze; so he can hack up enough saliva when needed.
- Gregory shares the same English voice actor (Robbie Daymond) as Mr. Black.
