Sigourney Rosicky (シガニー・ロシツキー, Shiganī Roshitsukī) a rank 2 member of Ouroboros. For years, she has been funding research to develop a drug that would change a non-NEXT into a NEXT. While the original goal fell through, she managed to obtain a drug that increases the NEXT power instead.
Storyline[]
At Upton Laboratory, the director Mr. Randle wants to use one of his coworkers as test subject. He prepares to inject him with the accidental mix that Mattia made, but the sponsor, Sigourney comes earlier. She wants to know about the progress and the results and upon learning there is no results, she decides to cut off the funding. Randle insists to continue and wishes to try their last drug. He attempts to inject his coworker, but as the man moves, he ends up injecting himself and causes an unexpected reaction, his weak NEXT power gets a surprising power boost.
At a meeting, Nicolai Brahe and Sigourney Rosicky introduce themselves as both being rank 2 in Ouroboros. Sigourney is surprised to see a rank 2 with a mark. Nicolai explains he used to be an orphan, making Sigourney guess he is one of the Nemo Children. Nicolai confirms and explains he managed to get up in the ranks. Sigourney guesses that Nicolai is behind the hero hunting recently and he confirms, stating he found some capable people from among the Nemo Children. Sigourney explains that she can help him by making his hunt easier. She states she was developing a drug to make non-NEXT into NEXT, but couldn't get that result. However, unexpectedly, they made a drug that works only on NEXT and is able to boost the NEXT powers by several orders of magnitude.
Nicolai Brahe and Sigourney Rosicky visit Randle at the laboratory, where he states he developed the drug, but can't tell them the secret. Sigourney then reveals she send out a prisoner with NEXT powers to do tests. She shows the prisoner's NEXT power, which makes Randle loose control over his own NEXT power. Nicolai recognizes the man as Gregory Sunshine, a famous criminal. Mugan and Fugan come to pick an item from Nicolai and Sigourney comments they are good pawns, but Nicolai doesn't seen them as pawns. A bit later, Mugan and Fugan return defeated and Nicolai tells them to rest. Sigourney tells them she has an injection that can make them stronger and Mugan and Fugan wish to take it. Nicolai still disagrees, stating they don't know if its safe, but Mugan and Fugan wish to become stronger and Sigourney rushes and injects Fugan.
Later, Sigourney goes to Randle and tells him to keep injecting Gregory with the drug to collect more data and even if he dies, he has a life sentence so it wouldn't matter. Moments later, Nicolai hears gunshots and goes to check out. He finds Sigourney with a gunshot wound on her arm, who tells Nicolai that Gregory managed to get a hold of a gun and escape. Gregory runs away with the drug and Nicolai heads after him.
