(Second part to ~Fortune Favors the Bold~ Sternbild Appreciation)
Everyone: Thank you for your hard work!
Ryan: We really livened up the party tonight! Felt like, “Viva Sternbild!”
Karina: Oh, I kinda like that.
Ryan: Good right?
Pao Lin: What does ‘’biba” mean?
Ryan: V-i-v-a. Means “hurrah”.
Pao Lin: Oh cool! Viva Sternbild! It really does feel like that!
Barnaby: I guess that’s the sign that our celebration party to the citizens of Sternbild was a success. Don’t you agree, Kotetsu-san?
Kotetsu: Yup! (mumbles) Eh…well… There is something I wish I did better…
Antonio: Done what better?
Kotetsu: Dah! You heard me!?
Karina: Tiger! You didn’t…mess up your dance routine by chance… Did you!?
Kotetsu: Ah!?
Karina: So you did.
Kotetsu: I’m sorry. I just miss the landing at the da-da-da-dan moment no matter what.
Barnaby: So you’re telling us that you messed up during the special BTB performance the citizens have not been able to see in a while.
Karina: Didn’t I teach you how to do it? It’s five six seven eight, then da-da-da-dan.
Kotetsu: I understand in concept! But as soon as I land on dan and go to strike my pose, the two of you are already doing it! And well, Ryan hopped on stage and I figured nobody saw it in the end so, ehehe, I think it’s fine.
Ryan: Hold up a moment. I didn’t just mindlessly hop on stage.
Kotetsu: Eh?
Ryan: I hopped on stage because I couldn’t stand to watch the Old Man’s poor dancing any longer. You kept forgetting your moves throughout the entire number, and at one point, you tried to hide your screw ups with a robot dance.
Kotetsu: Ah! That’s cause I was trying to cover up my screw ups!
Karina: Robot dance!? The same dance you do while making those “uweeen uween” noises?
Barnaby: That explains why the crowd was laughing…
Karina: I can’t believe it.
Kotetsu: Ehhh I just…kept forgetting bits and pieces of the routine after getting on stage with so many people watching me… Sorry…
Ryan: Stop worrying about it. In the end, I got on stage and got everyone excited again.
Pao Lin: That’s true! As soon as Ryan-san got on stage, people began to cheer like crazy.
Ivan: Yeah! Even when he and Bison-san had an arm wrestle, most were cheering for Ryan-san—
Antonio: Hey! Origami…
Ivan: Yes!!
Antonio: Touch right here. It’s rock solid.
Ivan: Oh, uh…wow… It’s like a rock…
Karina: Um, what’s with them…
Nathan: Rock Bison is probably trying to ease his wounded ego.
Karina: (sighs) Pathetic.
Keith: If I’m being honest too, I may feel the same as Tiger-kun.
Barnaby: Even you, Sky High?
Keith: Fire Emblem-kun’s ability to moderate was incredible. All I was able to say was, “that’s right!” and “looks good!” And before I knew it, I didn’t have any words to offer anymore.
Everyone: Oh.
Nathan: Stop stop stop. That’s because you never attended the rehearsal.
Keith: What do you mean, rehearsal?
Nathan: I was supposed to be the only moderator for the night but as soon as it started and I went up on stage, you were waiting in the moderator’s seat and that caused me to go into a panic! I was worried whether I had made a mistake or something~.
Keith: I didn’t need to moderate today!?
Nathan: That’s what I’m saying!
Kotetsu: To be honest, I think you butted yourself into too many stage performances today, Sky High.
Keith: Butted myself in?
Nathan: What we’re saying is that you didn’t need to appear in every stage event!
Barnaby: You have to understand, today’s stage was planned out beforehand, with which hero will do what.
Keith: Is that true!? I was under the impression that I was supposed to participate in everything…
Pao Lin: Even when I was showing off my kung fu moves, you were standing in the background with your arms crossed!
Karina: He looked like a master who was watching his student practice.
Antonio: And he ended up walking off stage without doing anything.
Karina: Everyone was wondering why he even went on the stage.
Pao Lin: Ah, so that’s why the crowd kept mumbling! I thought it was because I messed up on something.
Keith: I am…so sorry.
Ivan: But! I’m super grateful that you were there during my performance.
Kotetsu: Oh that Saito-san impression. I was surprised to see you mimic people without using your powers.
Everyone: (shudders)
Ivan: I ran into him by chance the other day and I became fascinated by his character! (mimicking Saito) — — — — — — (squeals).
Nathan: Nobody got the joke.
Ivan: I thought people would find it funny but…
Karina: No way people would find that funny.
Ivan: Huh?
Karina: There are many reasons why it doesn’t work but the fact that we can’t even hear your voice?
Barnaby: Also, Saito-san is not a publicly known figure. It’s not funny if the audience doesn’t know who you are mimicking.
Antonio: Yeah, why'd you choose him?
Ivan: But because Sky High was there, a new impression was born!
Keith: Is this enough, and is this truly enough!
Ivan: That’s right! “Is this enough, and is this truly enough!”
Antonio: But that entire performance was just you two repeating each other.
Kotetsu: Who cares. The citizens enjoyed it in the end so I think it was worth it!
Ryan: I think our Ryan & Barnaby with Tiger, ending performance got the crowd the most excited.
Everyone: Ah yeah, okay.
Nathan: I have one critique about that though.
Ryan: Critique?
Nathan: Ryan. You laugh too much at your own answers! People found that more entertaining than your answers to the questions.
Ryan: Ehehehee.
Nathan: And there you go again! This is why people were getting excited! Not because it was the final performance of the night.
Ryan: But listen, I think Junior-kun’s answer to that question was way worse. Question: In a moment that the heroes are called to an incident, HeroTV was begone from sight. Why is that?
Barnaby: They were swarmed by bees?
Pao Lin: Everyone went silent after you said that.
Ryan: Cause it made no sense! So please, tell us what you mean by, they got swarmed by bees?
Barnaby: Leave me be.
Pao Lin: Oh he said bee again!
Barnaby: !?
Karina: Oh that was emba~rrassing.
Barnaby: Kid…
Ryan: I put all my expectations towards that one answer!
Everyone: Oooh.
Barnaby: Don’t praise him for that!!
(Everyone laughs)
Kotetsu: Ahaha….ha... I can’t believe our party with the citizens is really over.
Barnaby: I hope we were able to convey our gratitude towards them.
Karina: I think we did our best.
Pao Lin: We prepared so much for today’s performance but I think the presents that we made were the most memorable!
Ivan: I almost wish there were enough hero charms for all of us to have.
Kotetsu: Yeah totally! I wanted that Wild Tiger one.
Barnaby: I too feel the same way.
Ryan: What is this? A rare moment you two agree with me?
Nathan: You all are too nice~ But they sure do take a lot of time to make.
Pao Lin: Three variations were already pushing it.
Karina: I hope you know that we were working on them even till this morning.
Antonio: Of today!? You guys must be exhausted.
Nathan: But wasn’t that the same for the sitting cushions you made?
Antonio: To be honest, we had many disputes about the initial design.
Ivan: Bison-san wanted to include the motif from his favorite jacket so we went through numerous sketches.
Antonio: If we’re making something for everyone, then I can’t make compromises!
Kotetsu: That’s right! And after work, you guys came over to my place every night so I barely got any sleep!
Ivan: Oh Tiger-san! The fried rice you made for us at dinner was delicious!
Antonio: It was beyond words!
Barnaby: Fried rice is Kotetsu-san’s only specialty, after all.
Kotetsu: Drop it with the “only”, it’s unnecessary.
Karina: Tiger’s fried rice… That sounds so good…
Nathan: You’re letting your inner desires spill out of your mouth~.
Karina: !? That wasn’t me! That was… Dragon Kid! Are you that desperate for fried rice!?
Pao Lin: Eh?
Karina: Oh you~! Letting your inner desires just spill out of your mouth~!
Pao Lin: Hey, what’s she talking about?
Nathan: Just play along. She’s acting like she always does when she’s embarrassed.
Pao Lin: Hmm. Didn’t know that being an adult was this difficult.
Kotetsu: Oooh! Speaking of difficult, Bunny’s team faced some difficulties too, right? After all, your teammates were Ryan and Sky High, hehe.
Barnaby: Both had such strong personal preferences and—
Ryan: No no no. Don’t get it mixed up, Junior-kun. You’re the one with the strongest personal preference in the team.
Keith: I agree, and from the bottom of my very heart, I agree.
Ryan: We were struggling to move forward with our foldable umbrella idea, meeting up every single night to nitpick about the color, then nitpick about the pattern, and then nitpick about the color again…
Barnaby: That’s the bare minimum we should be doing to make sure that everyone enjoys the umbrellas.
Keith: Not only that, Sky High would leave in the middle of the night to do his night patrols, which Junior-kun would participate in, causing our meetings to take place while the two were out.
Barnaby: Sometimes our conversation would break up because Sky High patrols in the sky…
Ryan: Exactly. Talking like, “eh? What? What about the design? Eh?”
(Everyone laughs)
Keith: But I don’t see my extra effort as a burden if it means everyone enjoyed their gift.
Everyone: Yeah.
Nathan: Well then, I guess it’s time for us to head off to our very own, little party~.
Antonio: Ou! I’ve been waiting for this moment! The night feels a bit incomplete since they were only serving non-alcoholic drinks at the party. Right, Kotetsu?
Kotetsu: I hear you, Bison!
Ivan: I have a feeling that this is going to last until the morning…
Karina: Wait a moment! Some of us pulled an all-nighter yesterday so we won’t last until tomorrow morning. Not to mention, it’ll be bad for my skin… Right, Fire Emblem?
Nathan: What are you talking about? I’m going to have everyone listen to the full epic of my first love, from start till end.
Ryan: Guess I’ve got no choice but to let you all listen to my voice as well.
Karina: Ugh, what a hassle!
Antonio: What should be do about a restaurant? I can call and make a reservation if you want.
Pao Lin: I’m hungry so I want to go somewhere with a lot of food.
Ivan: What do you think about a sushi bar?
Pao Lin: Mmm, what about chinese!?
Keith: I’ll say that I’m fine with anything, but I’m also perfectly content with anything!
Kotetsu: Why did you phrase it like that if you’re fine with anything in the end!
Antonio: Uh, should I just call some random restaurants then?
Barnaby: Um…
Everyone: Hmm?
Barnaby: What do you think about having a party at Kotetsu-san’s place?
Kotetsu: Eh? Ehhh my place!?
Barnaby: Especially since your fried rice came into the conversations so… What do you all think?
Everyone: Oh yeah.
Kotetsu: Oh yeah?
Karina: Let’s go! Let’s go to Tiger’s place!
Nathan: That’s an amazing idea, Handsome~.
Kotetsu: Wait wait wait wait wait—
Pao Lin: I’m looking forward to trying the rumored fried rice!
Ryan: Just hold up you guys. Why don’t we go eat somewhere nice, especially cause I’m leaving in a few days.
Kotetsu: Yeah yeah! We don’t need to do it at my place!
Antonio: That’s true. We can eat Kotetsu’s fried rice whenever we want to.
Ivan: But I’d still like to eat it again…
Keith: I’ll say that I’m fine with anything, but I’m also perfectly content with anything!
Antonio: So you’re fine with anything in the end!
Karina: So what are we going to do?
Barnaby: Seems like we can’t come to an agreement. Well then, let's decide whether to head towards a restaurant or to Kotetsu-san’s place as we leave here.
Everyone: Okay!
–
Kotetsu: Um, I…. Didn’t agree to uh, let you guys eat at my place.
Barnaby: Let’s go, Old Man.
Kotetsu: Dah! Wait up for me, Bunny! Also we aren’t going to my place!
Everyone: Fried rice, fried rice, fried rice, fried rice—
(Kotetsu: Then why not Bunny’s place—)
—
(footsteps and a piece of paper is picked up)
Yuri: “Viva, Sternbild”... Hmm. (laughs)
