Plot[]
Affected by Gregory's power, Tiger loses control and attacks Barnaby. While the people who watch Hero TV wonder what is happening, Mario explains that the heroes were working on proving that X isn't an infectious disease, but its caused by a criminal named Gregory Sunshine. They didn't had enough evidence to prove it, but its essentially proved now as it was Gregory who touched Tiger and caused him to loose control. All the heroes are busy saving civilians and are unable to come and help out Barnaby and stop Tiger.
As Tiger attacks Barnaby, he suddenly stops. Meanwhile, Lunatic is fighting a loosing battle against Audun. Tiger and Barnaby then come and join him fighting Audun. Tiger explains that Gregory's effect is over, but Tiger had lost his powers. Tiger's power had already been weakened and lasted only a minute, but this rampage exhausted all that was left of it. He is no longer NEXT, which is why the rampage stopped. He encourages his teammates to continue saving people and to not worry about him. Mario explains that Tiger's rampage is over, but he lost his NEXT powers. The police chief admits he is wrong and orders all units to assist the heroes.
Tiger and Barnaby barely stand up. Audun runs towards them, but Lunatic uses his body to take on Audun's attack and protect Tiger and Barnaby. Barnaby's power has recharged. He activates it and goes against Audun, but is not match for him and ends up loosing his suit. Tiger then gives him his bracelet and suit and Barnaby equips Tiger's suit. He activates Hero Mode and power kicks Audun, knocking him down and stopping his rampage. Barnaby then tells Tiger that it felt strange. He was alone, but it felt like they were both there.
Ryan and Rose find Gregory, after a civilian reports seeing him, and capture him. Aurora thanks Tiger and Barnaby, and asks them to thank Lunatic as well. Tiger and Barnaby then see a blood trail from where Lunatic was. They follow it and find Lunatic on an edge. He is badly injured, but tells them to stay away. His mask then breaks and they see he is Yuri. They tell him that they don't agree with what he had done, but thank him for today as he was a true hero. Lunatic then lights himself on fire. As he jumps down, he states he was true to his sense of justice and tells Tiger and Barnaby to remain true to their sense of justice; they solemnly watch his ashes blow away.
The driver of the truck that transports Gregory, receives an orders. He then speeds up and jumps out of the vehicle, leaving the truck going off the road and crashing and killing Gregory. With Gregory gone, all the X return to normal.
Tiger tells the other heroes that since he is no longer NEXT, he can't continue being a hero. He still wants to help anyone he can, but will also take some time to think what he can do now. They all agree to go for dinner together. As they split up, Ryan sees that Rose is feeling down due to Tiger and tries cheers her up. Fire Emblem and Sky High thank each other as both felt the other was there for them. Origami tells Bison to see Agnes today, but Bison doesn't feel ready. He then asks Origami what he likes more, food or clothes. Origami doesn't understand why he is asking him and wonders if he is getting Agnes a second present. Kid plans on inviting her parents to meet Cat and suggest that they invited Cat's mother as well. Barnaby tells Tiger that he will continue being a hero. His leg hurts, but he was still able to do that kick and won't be giving up. Tiger tells him that he can't be on his side, but will always be on his side and they will be partners forever.
