With the new development of dedicated Gallery pages for each major character, there needs to be some rules on how to categorise images and set them out. Instead of making an outright page I'm making a blog post instead.
For the standard main character gallery page (and secondary characters with galleries will have most of the same categories), each of them have main category headers and then subheaders within the main one.
What each category means[]
Header: Anime[]
Season 1
Beginning
Rising
Season 2
All of these are self-explanatory. Screenshots taken from within the episodes/movies. If a character does not appear in any of the mentioned, they will not need the subheader of that (EG, Golden Ryan's Gallery page will only need Rising and Season 2). When adding a caption, mention the episode it's taken from if in Season 1 or 2. Quips are allowed.
Header: Manga[]
subhead - Main Series Mangas = All images from the main mangas (as listed on the Manga page).
subhead - Other Series Mangas = All images from mangas that aren't the main series ones.
Captions should specify which manga+issue the image is from. Some characters may need to have more subheaders if certain manga provides a whole lot of images of them. Covers for the Manga count under these categories. Quips are allowed for non-cover images.
Header: Video Games[]
subhead - Official Games = All images relevant to the main games. Includes screenshots, official sprite rips, and related art such as the boxart of the games.
subhead - Crossover Appearances = Images related to crossover events with games, such as screenshots and crossover art/art that appears in said game.
For Secondary characters, they generally won't need subheaders and all video game images will instead be under one category. Captions should state which game it's from; quips can be used for this category too.
Header: Official Art[]
Concept/Reference Art = Reference sheets and any other concept artwork such as storyboards or early design sheets.
Promotional = Any image made to promote Tiger & Bunny itself, such as art meant to be on posters or computer wallpapers.
Official Site = Images taken directly from the official sites.
Merch/Collab = Any art found exclusively on merch, or art that promotes merchandise & collaborations with brands.
Social Media = Any art drawn by official artists of Tiger & Bunny works (such as the Mangas) that was posted on social media platforms.
First and foremost, no quips in the captions of these official images. If it's under Merch/Collab, the caption must state the collaboration/what item is being promoted or what piece of merchandise the image is on (depending on which it is). Social Media images must state which artist drew the image in the caption, and link to the original post if it is still up.
Header: Miscellaneous Images[]
Any image that cannot fit under any other category
For images that don't fit any of the other categories. Or you can put an image here if you're not sure and wait for someone else to edit it into another category later. Images such as photographs taken of the official real-life suits can go in this category.
Minor Characters Gallery Page[]
Categories on the page are self explanatory. If a character appears in multiple instances, put them under the media they first appear in, regardless of if the image is from that part of Tiger & Bunny. E.g. a character introduced in Season 1 that is seen in Season 2 and Mangas will have all their images grouped into Season 1, as this is sorted by characters first.
Characters depicted in the image must be named in the caption.
Following single character gallery rules, episode or manga chapter must also be named if from one of those. For the seasons, make sure to state which one (unless the character is only in Season 2).
Other things to note[]
- Images should be sorted chronologically, if possible.
- Examples are Episode 1 goes before 2 goes before 3 (etc), Manga chapter 1 before 2 before 3, and the manga themselves sorted by release date if possible. Official art should try to be organised by when the image was first shown to the public; if found in a book first, the book's release date would be that date.
- If a release date is unable to be confirmed for an image, just make a best guess and remember that S1 > Beginning > Rising > S2.
- Not every image *needs* a caption and it is OK if you cannot think of one beyond its necessary info.
- The gallery talk page can be used for asking where certain images go and a request to find a specific one.
- Not every instance of the character ever needs to be posted here, especially in regards to Manga, Game and Anime screenshots. Try to avoid redundant images as well, such as only a few frames of difference compared to another image.
- Our Sister Wiki is dedicated to documenting official merchandise for T&B so there is no need to post every instance of character-related merch onto their Gallery page. ONLY post the image if art on the merchandise is exclusive to said piece of merchandise (EG some art that appears on sticker sheets or pins).
- Anything created by fans is not allowed to be posted in the gallery page.
- This section may be added to later
